Chef Raul's prestigious culinary journey began in New York City shortly following culinary school. His career began at the luxurious Waldorf Astoria as the saucier (perfecting the sauce is so important to a great dish). His experience grew from some of the most esteemed establishments in New York City, such as Tavern on the Green, Chemical Bank World Headquarters, Lincoln Center Metropolitan Opera House, and Neuman & Bogdonoff Catering. From the Big Apple, Chef Raul moved onto other culinary endeavors after relocating to Orlando, Fl. His career in Florida included Executive Chef for Bergamo's Italian Restaurant, The Villas at Grand Cypress, Walt Disney World's Swan & Dolphin Resort, Citricos at the Grand Floridian and most recently the Coral Reef at Epcot Center. With over 37 years of experience, Chef Raul wanted to use his culinary knowledge and pursue the dream of starting his own catering company where he could provide the experience of 5 star cuisine for everyone to enjoy. As our Sales Manager, Jessica oversees the entire Foodie staff and works closely with Chef Raul to set standards for all of Foodie's menus, event planning and services. Her background in the hospitality industry allows her to plan and execute every detail to design the event of your dreams. After graduating from the University of Central Florida’s Rosen School of Hospitality Management, Jessica gained her experience as manager of a Central Florida Bakery and working in Catering and Conventions at the Buena Vista Palace on Walt Disney World property.  She belongs to the Orlando Chapter of (NACE) National Association of Catering Executives where she continues to learn the new and upcoming trends in the catering and event planning world.
